Deeone Drags Davido Over Support for Verydarkman, Throws Shade at His Music Career

Controversial comedian Deeone has come out swinging at Afrobeats superstar Davido following his public show of support for activist Verydarkman (VDM).

Davido recently took to social media to call for VDM’s release, a move that didn’t sit well with Deeone. In a fiery reaction, the comedian accused Davido of showing “fake love,” claiming he only joined the cause to gain clout, especially after dropping a new album.

According to Deeone, Davido’s actions lack genuine intent and are purely for trend-chasing. He went further to say this is why Wizkid and Burna Boy will always be ahead of him in the industry.

“Can you see why Wizkid and Burna Boy will always be greater than Davido in this life? This thing now wey Davido tweet, does it make sense? Okay now, as you dey tweet make them free your guy, EFCC office na online? Davido no dey jump on something unless e don trend,” he said.
