Lege Miami Calls for Charges Against Pilot Over Alleged Attempt on KWAM 1’s Life at Abuja Airport

Miami alleges that Captain Oluranti Ogoyi’s conduct during the altercation posed a serious threat to the musician’s safety.

Renowned Yoruba actor Adams Kehinde, better known as Lege Miami, has vehemently criticized the pilot involved in the recent clash with Fuji music legend Wasiu Ayinde (Kwam 1), asserting that his reckless behavior demands accountability.

Miami insists that Captain Ogoyi’s actions during the heated confrontation could have resulted in fatal consequences for the iconic singer.

Lege Miami argued that even if Kwam 1 had resisted airport protocols, physically restraining a moving aircraft would be an impossible feat for any individual.

The actor expressed bafflement over why airport authorities failed to engage law enforcement instead of permitting the volatile situation to spiral out of control.

He further condemned the pilot’s decision to maneuver the aircraft while the musician remained dangerously close, branding it a potential death trap.

Miami slammed the pilot’s professionalism, describing his conduct as indefensible and incompatible with aviation standards.

He insisted that if Kwam 1 faces repercussions, the pilot must equally answer for his role in the incident.

In his words: “This pilot attempted murder—no excuses. If Kwam1 supposedly obstructed the plane’s movement, how could one man single-handedly halt an aircraft? The pilot knew the impossibility yet chose to move, endangering a life. Where were airport police? Their solution was to risk killing him?

“Don’t glorify pilots as infallible—this one lacked judgment. If Kwam1 is penalized, the pilot must be dismissed. Immediate action is non-negotiable.”
